Hello from a long time lurker, now proud owner..
 

Hello All-

Been a member for quite a while but only in "lurker" status. Have learned a good amount over the last couple years reading the boards. I now can officially consider myself a member, having bought and driven my new toy home this evening...

'72 Chevy SB 350/TH350 :metal:

Needs a few things (understatement of course) but what fun would it be if it was complete then I'd have nothing to search for, buy, and tinker on. (or swear at) :crazy:

Here's some pics, didn't start to move her outside, just running set thrush glasspacks - didn't want to irritate the neighbors tonight. Will be getting plates for it next week and then will start driving and wrenching at a garage with more space. :D

Little history: Previous owner stripped it down to the frame, sandblasted and painted. Replaced all supports, mounts, and front end parts. New brakes, ujoints, and misc. Cab had the corners and part of the floors replaced, front clip is rust free. Bodywise only issue is the bed which I'll be looking for a replacement. Mechanically everything has been rebuilt and painted. Runs perfect, on to picking up parts and tinkering.
