i need a drivelne for a shortbed 77 2 wheel drive chevy. turbo 350. if i cant find a short driveline can i use one from a longbed and have it cut? my u joint failed because the shop didnt balance the shaft. now its wasted. how much would i expect to pay for a used shaft?.

You can purchase decent driveline anywhere from $30.00 to $60.00 depending on the salvage yard. The cost of shortening one, around here is about $100.00 and that included a new U-joint.
