Blind nuts?

I am currently reworking the interior of my 78. I am covering my door panels, headliner and dash in tan suede. Everything is going good and it all looks f***ing awesome but I can't figure out a way to fasten everything without putting holes in the suede. Is there some kind of blind nut system out there that I can use?

Most hardware stores carry the push in type fasteners. You should have something similar in the middle of the door panels already. They come in a bunch of sizes so you'll probably be able to put the fasteners into the original screw holes. You'll just have to seal them up under the suede before you glue it all down. I'm leaning in that direction or using a button type cover for the screw heads. I'm doing a black fabric though so it won't stand out as much as a button on suede would.

Look at what the guy used in this thread:

You should be able to get something like them in an upholstery shop.
