I think it looks awesome! We can see alot of whats in your garage by the reflections in the paint it's so nice. It does play he!! on the eyes though:lol:

|
Re: rate my paint !
it was dark out when I got to this point last night so I just snapped a few shot's and yea it reflect's but it should look better in the daylight , I will take a few shot's outside first chance I get , and it is base coat clear coat paint 4 coat's of base minus one sanded off with 1000 grit and 4 coat's of clear minus 2 sanded off with 600 1000 then 2000 grit , let me just say that I did a LOT OF BODYWORK on this truck to get it to here , I am tired whewww !

Re: rate my paint !
Paint looks great!. Hold that camera steady when pressing the button:lol:

Re: rate my paint !
I take it you approached this with the standard color sanding and then buff with a polishing compound and finish up with a glazing compound. If there are still spots that you don't like, you can go back to the polishing compound or the 2500 grit color sand paper. Paint is forgiving, your friends are NOT.

Re: rate my paint !
Looks Beeeeyooooteeefull! Painting always amazes me. Bet you'll treat your truck differently now. Before I painted, I used to park my old truck next to cars and I'm sure the owners were fearful and looked for door dings. Now I check for them on my old truck.
I like the way your '67 is shaping up, and I love those hubcaps! |
Re: rate my paint !
So shiny it's scary even. Best I've seen in a while.
|
Re: rate my paint !
Great job! I love that formal tux look- best combo possible, as long as I don't have to wash it :)
|
Re: rate my paint !
I agree looks great as all fresh black paint jobs do, they sure are fun to keep looking that way, great choice with the white.
