Too many accessories, too little power
 

So after failing miserably, I had someone put in my power windows. Add on the courtesy lights, the hood light, the stero, the lighter, and the power locks, I'm out of room in the fuse block.

I need to wire in a few extra circuits, but have no idea how to do it. Could someone recommend a kit that doesn't replace the fuse box and is really easy to install?

Really simple run a secondary wire #8 oughta do it, good fo 50 amps From the battery through the firewall and terminate it in a distrubution block. Any Auto stereo store should have them for 10-30 bucks. Then pull several smaller wires out of the distro block to seperate fuse blocks. Nice and neat and will serve your purpose well. Then you can buy my pretty much brand new 140 Amp Powermaster alternator from me and you'll never have issues again :)

i would be taking a trip to the junk yard and looking for a relay - fues panel to mount under thats what i plan to do for headlight relays and any extras i may want to add as i build

Anyone recommened a specific brand of distrubution block or can I use one of the cheapo generic ones?

I think that Walmart carries "Scosche" brand power/ground blocks in there car audio section. It should be 10 to 15 bucks. Short of wanting to get real fancy that one should be just fine.

You must have some automotive electrical knowledge to wire/install it.

I used to design and build custom automotive wiring harnesses for race cars and street rods. From the Summit picture, the fuse block they use looks identical to the custom Delco bolt-and-stack block I have used in the past.
