Tim they came in several different cars including vettes, novas, chevelles, buicks, oldsmobile omegas, and some kind of buick that looked like a monza. The older vette and camaro +chevelle one bring pretty good money but the newer ones out of the monza look-a-likes are worth a little less you can buy a new one for $200 I'd like to find a few used ones for $50-$75 or possibly more for the right one. do you know where any are laying around? Got mine years ago for $20.00 and was going to use it in my 62 Impala. Later used it on the GMC. Came from a early 70's Buick GS. Now, they are bringing big bucks. Even the repo ones......

Re: WTB 3 bar steering wheels

I have an extra wheel like this that is in a forest green color. I had bought it under the description that it was medium blue, but when I cleaned it up, sure enough it was more green. I had to give $120 for it, but I would take $90 plus shipping for it. I will see about getting a picture for you today if interested.

Re: WTB 3 bar steering wheels

The green wheel is the one I have. The blue one is one an original blue color wheel that I just got done restoring for my blue interior below. I still have the blue dye if you need it to be dyed, but would probably charge another $20 on top of that to mask it off and dye it. The dye is a ppg color and ran me about $30 for a pint, which I haven't compared to my interior yet but that is a picture of my interior and the wheel I did. The green wheel is in overall pretty good condition, hit has a few tiny scrapes in the cushion grip, one at the top, and one at the bottom, but the wheel still has quite a bit of the texture on it for being a 30 year old wheel. I cleaned it with a Mr. Clean magic eraser which took care of most of the dirt, but I didn't want to hurt the grain by cleaning it in every nook and cranny. The pics almost make it more blue than green, but from my eyes it looks more of a dark green. Trevor

Trevor does that green wheel come with a hub and horn cap? thanks Mike

Re: WTB 3 bar steering wheels

no... both of my wheels that I bought came from ebay and were without the hub and horn cap.... those sure add up. I probably have close to $200 easily in my blue wheel. It's hard to find these wheels with everything these days. Reproductions with everything (wheel, hub, & horn cap) will run you atleast $210. I looked into the repos before buying the original one.
