ID numbers on corp 14 bolt rears

Are there any ID numbers on the 14 bolt. If so where are they and where can I go to look them up? As I am looking for axles I would like to know what is supposed to be inside of them and what they might have come out of?. That way I dont buy a front with 4.09's and a rear with 3.73's

The only thing i know is look on the ring gear and find 4 numbers and divide those. That will give you the gear ratio.

There are numbers on the diff tube, but hell if anyone knows what they mean. I have never seen any reference material either.
