WTB: NICE Factory fleet tailgate
 

Hi All. I'm in need of a NICE factory fleetside tailgate for my 70 GMC. Mine has all the trim, so trim holes are a good thing. Prefer a GMC stamp, but will consider a nice Chevy gate. No major dents or bows please. My e-mail is listed below if you can send a good pic or 2. I will be out of town Tues noon (East coast) until Sat evening, but the body maan is pushing me. Do you want GMC or CHEV?
Are you going to run the wood TG band?
How can you use CHEV on your GMC?

Yes, My GMC has the woodgrain trim band that will cover either stamping. Just want a nice gate, I would prefer the GMC stamp but, either stamp will be hidden. What do you have?? Greg

I,ve got a nice gmc tailgate that i bought at charlotte last year just because you don't see any real nice original gates anymore i figured i would use it but I got it loaded in my trailer to take to a swap meet next weekend in commerce ga. you should ride down and check it out i'm sure there will be others as well thanks I'd let it go for $300 thanks Mike

Thanks Chad, Just seems like I go thru this everytime I need something. People will tell me about the item or send pics then I never hear back. I post when I need to buy something, not just to talk about it. I keep hearing about the shipping, but I will be paying it when I find that NICE tailgate. I really don't want to but a repro gate, but I may have to it looks like.

p.s. The white truck in my avator was shipped from Oregon....SWB 4WD all factory. Greg

mine is bowed about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch and has a few dings along the bottom on the inside no rust holes that i can see $121 shipping I'd rather you look at it in person for that kind of money I,m always out and about i could meet you around Athens later Mike
