Push-Loc fittings

I started putting airline on my Blazer and I am using push-loc fittings. Do these things really go together as easy as mine did. Just seems like they went together way to easy. I have never used these before and did not know what to expect.

Yep, nothing to it. Be sure to give the lines a tug to seat the locks, or they can blow out.

yep the PTC's are a snap - nothing to it. Just make sure the line is going straight in - it will leak otherwise.

Make sure the air-line has a clean, 90° cut on the end before installing to the PTC fitting. This helps reduce the chance for leaks & 'blowing-out' of the fitting.

I've been told you can get these @ lowes/home depot.. went to look this weekend and they have them, but they're a PVC-plastic material, no metal.. however the plastic fittings are rated @170 psi.. where is the best place to buy these fittings, would a semi-truck shop have 1/2" and 3/8" fittings?

170 is way to low. use brass ones.

I had 1 tee that leaked because the lines weren't straight. I just used some well places zip ties so the line was secured before the fitting and it was fine after that.
