Vehicle id

Hey Folks.

I'm told this truck VIN: CS141F8xxxxx is a 1/2 ton truck. Seems too big for that classification. Would any of you have any better info?

Thanks.

Re: Vehicle id

C = 4x2
S = 6cyl
1 = 1/2 ton
4 = pickupcab with bed
1 = 1971
F = Flint

1/2t,3/4t,and 1t trucks are all the same size,if you`re talking an 8' bed.The difference is in the suspension and brakes.

Re: Vehicle id

You can get that at brothers! :haha: sorry... I had to.
If having it hidden is important, then you'll probably be stuck getting it from them, or another vendor for pretty much the same $$. However, if you can live with it under your bumper, your options increase quite a bit. Don't overlook used ones, as long as it doesn't look like it came out of lake erie. Personally, anything more than surface rust and I'll pass on them.
