how to remove column shifter
 

so i installed a floor shifter and need to take off the column shifter. where do i begin, i assume the steering wheel needs to come off with some type of puller.

i've always just removed the pin holding the shifter handle and used it like that till i got a 4speed column(prefering tilt over fixed) and swaped out the column
