20" x 9" rim BS Question

I'm looking at a set of 20"x 9" rims for my stepside, and They have a 5 ½” backspace, I need to know if that will tuck up front and in the back?

These are the rims:

Re: 20" x 9" rim BS Question

it will tuck up, but in the back the wheels will be inside the fender a ways, i put 2'' spacers on mine to fix the problem, so far i havent had any problems in 1000 miles. and on the front end at full steer, if u have dropped spindles, it may rub your lower a-arm, but if you grind a little notch out, you should be fine!

Re: 20" x 9" rim BS Question

I would consider 245/45/20 up front and 295/40/20 in the rear.

I kinda wanted to go for the same size tire front and back so I could rotate them...

Re: 20" x 9" rim BS Question

Ok new idea, what if I go with a 22" rim on the back with a backspace of 6" and the front stays a 20 with 5.5" backspace, how will that tuck?

Re: 20" x 9" rim BS Question

If 5.5"bs need a 2" spacer for the rear a 6" bs will need even more.

6" bs will probably rub on the rear.

i got them on ebay through this guy :http://stores.ebay.ca/CompleteValue-Wheel-Spacers

billet aluminum, and i've had no problems in the 2000 miles i've driven with them

rc 415, the 20x9 would look killer in the front, and like i said earlier, would rub slightly with dropped spindles, however, on a stepside, the 22x (10 im assuming) with a 6 inch backspacing would make your back fenders look HUGE and bubbley. in order to correct this with those rims, the 1.5" spacers would make them fit like you paid $$$$ getting the rims custom made. also, the spacers would clear any rubbing issues you'd potentially have in the rear.

my set up is a 20x8.5 with 5" bs all the way around with 2" spacers in the rear, and im very happy with its stance. the tires are 255/35r20's. here
