June 2007-TOTM-Step On Up!
 

The theme for this month’s TOTM is

Step On Up!

Now here are the rules or criteria for the vehicles being nominated

To be nominated for this month’s theme

• Open to all year stepside pickups (short and long bed, 2WD and 4WD).
• It must be together and able to move on its own power.
• It must be currently street legal.
• If a truck has won a TOTM already in 2006 or 2007, you are ineligible. If you were nominated but were not selected as a TOTM winner then you may be nominated and compete in this month's category.

To Nominate:

You or someone else may nominate your truck. Just add the nomination to this thread. We will need a picture or two of the nominee vehicle, the owner’s board name, and the basics specs of the truck (year, engine/drive train specs). You or your nominator can provide additional info if desired.

Nominees will run through June 23. If additional information is needed, then I will PM the first 15 nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing them for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up in this board area. An announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all of the voting. The Poll will start to run on June 24 and will run until the morning of June 30. The official announcement of the winner will be on the afternoon of June 30. The announcement of this month’s TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

I nominate myself :gi: 69 chevy custom/10 late model 350 vortec engine, turbo 350 trans. late model bed. although their are alot of nicer trucks on here.....i still love mine :bling2:

I'll have to jump in on this one. I nominate myself. Never nominated myself or ever been nominated. Interior is still in-work as well as the engine compartment, but she is getting there. Future addition is a Weiand blower (177 2x4) and will be swapping over to a TH400.

1974, BBC 496, Speed Pro Forged pistons, 12.5-1 comp, Comp XE294 cam, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap, GM 781 heads w/ 2.19/1.88 valves, Holley 870 Street Avenger, Edelbrock Performer NOS, TH350 w/3500 stall, 12 bolt 3.73 gears (posi locker).

I will add Mudder I love his truck 67 Stepside 4x4 (Red) 383 Stroker 6in lift 36 in MT tires. this thing is Awsome.

Well, since I have balls to the wall, I'm gonna nominate my truck - ain't as pretty as the ones above, but work trucks never get the chance to stay pretty :( Here are some pics as of tonight:

It's moved by a 2-bolt 350 with ported heads, Melling towing cam, Offenhauser 360 split-port intake, and Holley 4160 double-pumper carb, and as any self-respecting torque-monster on the road passes everything but a gas station. It has caught off-guard at the light many a drivers :D

not the best out of the bunch but i'll nominate my '57. 350, corvette rear suspension, camero front suspension. a work still very much in progress.

hey mike thats a nice truck....do you catch much whining about the newer bed? ive always got people whining to me about how i need to put an original bed back on, but im quite fond of em myself and they line up quite well IMHO

I dont know if there is a time limit on these things but one of my favorite builds on the 73-87 was watching this one come together a few years back heres the link and the member's name is 75stepside, so if its OK id like to nominate this truck and member
