Well, I finally got it all done this weekend.

I used a booster, master cylinder and bracket set off of eBay that was spec'd out for a Tri-5 Chevy. This is what I ended up with.

I had to make a piece to attach the pedal rod to the booster rod, and drill a new hole for the pedal bracket. The lines I bent myself - and I put the prop. valve on the frame. It's a lot cleaner than this:

Looks great! Your truck just gets better and better. BTW, how far are you from Gainesville?

I'm about 7 hours from Gainesville - pretty much just the state of GA.

My wife asked me this morning "What do you have left on your truck?"
I told her "Well, I thought you would have figured it out by now, but you haven't - I will never just have anything left. I will always have something to do to it. It never ends."

I hope I always make it better, and never worse.

I meant Gainesville, GA. I live in Cleveland.

Oh - hehe. Didn't even pay attention.

It's about 2.5 hours. The only way for me to get there is south to Atlanta, then back up I-85 (that's how we go to the Commerce Drags).

I live in Ringgold - just south of the GA/TN border south of Chattanooga on I-75.

Looks good now the question is, how does it stop? Let us know.

I gotta do something like that... everything in my engine compartment is shiny new and then a rusty old booster and mc...

It stops like I never had power brakes before.
I was amazed at how sensitive our trucks could stop with a nice system.

I am sure once I get it all bled again after a few miles then it will be superb.
I did give a few panic brake checks, and it was pretty good. The fronts definitely do most of the braking now - it seemed to be more balanced before, not sure why that is, but either way, it stops on a dime in your normal driving.

Got a link to the ebay auction? Did it come with the brackets to mount to the firewall? What mods to get it to fit?
