Exhaust
I heard something I wanted to ask the big boys (you guys) about...my truck has dual exhaust running to a 45 angle in front of the rear wheels..common set up for these trucks...well one of my mufflers is completely rusted through like holes in it and stuff and the other one is fine...I heard something about the backpressure from it being bad on the cylinders? didn't know if i should just cut them both to make it even and almost open headers or what...

Re: Exhaust
i think a better fix would be a couple of muffelers

As to backpressure, it could be a problem for you if the muffler has collapsed internally. No mufflers/open headers should not be considered for street/highway use, imho. I'm getting close to replacing my mufflers. Suggest the same for you. |
