Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread
Hey Guy's
I finally got my act together and started working on the K5. Incase you didn't catch it the first time around, heres the story on it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=211729 I have started with the easy stuff like taking out the interior and such. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/DSCF0082.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/DSCF0084.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/DSCF0090.jpg Last night I started working on getting the engine sorted out. Took the 305 off the stand and got the 350 on it. Than I took the goodies off the 305 and mocked them up on the 350. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/DSCF0121.jpg http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/DSCF0127.jpg And finally a pic of my Blazer and Regal waiting to be worked on. http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...n/DSCF0118.jpg Evan |

Re: Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread
So its only been about five years but i finally started working on the Blazer again. It took a while to get the fenders off because i guess the last person to assemble it welded the fender to the lower tabs. Both studs looked like they were rusted off so I guess that explains why.

Re: Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread
I remember looking at that thing when it was for sale at the farm house on 59(years ago)
My advise is KEEP THE STEELIES. Good luck with the rebuild. |
Re: Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread
looks like there might be some spare parts laying under it
|
Re: Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread
@ BobbyK - That's the plan on keeping the steelies, but I have to find a matching set of caps for the other side.
@ oldschool18 - Unfortunately over the years its kinda became the scrap metal spot LoL. |
Re: Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread
Turn that scrap in and get yourself some new parts........keep up the progress
