Kool_K5's Blazer Build Thread

Hey Guy's

I finally got my act together and started working on the K5.
Incase you didn't catch it the first time around, heres the story on it.

I have started with the easy stuff like taking out the interior and such.

Last night I started working on getting the engine sorted out. Took the 305 off the stand and got the 350 on it. Than I took the goodies off the 305 and mocked them up on the 350.

So its only been about five years but i finally started working on the Blazer again. It took a while to get the fenders off because i guess the last person to assemble it welded the fender to the lower tabs. Both studs looked like they were rusted off so I guess that explains why.

I remember looking at that thing when it was for sale at the farm house on 59(years ago)

My advise is KEEP THE STEELIES.

Good luck with the rebuild.

@ BobbyK - That's the plan on keeping the steelies, but I have to find a matching set of caps for the other side.

@ oldschool18 - Unfortunately over the years its kinda became the scrap metal spot LoL.
