You need to tell these guys what you have invested in the paint and body. ;)

Re: New paint PICS

I have about $200 into the body and paint.
sheet metal, poprivits, bondo, fiberglass, spot putty, sandpaper and paint.
This truck still has alot of body rot.
someday I will do better job but for now it is all i could afford.

Great improvement for $200. I just might do something like that to my K5 to get it protected and one color.

I used ammonia to clean the top and semi-gloss black rust-oleum
oil based paint.
Trisodium phosphate (TSP), is a better cleaner but ammonia is cheaper.:metal:

Hey Jeff, great lookin job on that Jimmy with a budget anyone should be able to afford! That black roof rather than the original white was the way to go with the "sand" color.

Thanks for the pics---DAC

thanks
the plan all along was black grill, bumpers, top and wheels.
The interior is brown so i thought the sand color would br a nice contrast
to both the brown and black.

the interior pics will be next carpet, buckets and console, lap and sholder belts..ect
