John

ok ive figured out what im gonna do. that is if you dont mind if i copy your bed six4flat? except mines gonna sit about 4 inches higher off the frame. i was looking at some of your pics on other threads and i like the stakesides. are they detachable? if i do that mine will be. im buying a fuel cell thats gonna go behind the cab, its wide and skinny so it wont take up alot of space. im gonna think it over for a week or so just to make sure i really do wanna take my bed off. know what i mean? if and when i do make it a flat bed ill take alot of pics during the building of it so others can use it.
thanks,
John

made one myself... bought the truck for 300 bucks last summer and needed to make it a daily driver. the tail-light cut-outs were already in the bumper so i wired in some trailer lights. needed a front bumper too, got one second hand.

put about 200 bucks into lumber, hardware and fenders... bought the fenders from farm and fleet.

since then, ive painted (killz white primer) the bed. held up pretty well till i moved a dishwasher and my toolbox from work (scratched the paint)
