GM crate ZZ4. Sequence number 1232!!
Found it on Craigslist!!! The motor was taken out of a totalled Vette. I purchased the ZZ4 from the second engine owner who never installed it. I went through it.
You can see the refresh and buildup on this slide show.

gchemist that's a sweet motor and I'm sure it will fit perfectly into BADBOW. I have always been a fan of your truck and BADBOW's webpage. Nice find.

Re: BADBOW's new engine!!!

My brother and I did a lot of work in one day. The hardest part was drilling the frame for the custom transmission crossmember. I also converted from a one bolt tranny mount to a two bolt type. The preloaded mount should put more power through the wheels. The next hardest modification is trying to route the dual ram air box intakes for the 91 grill. Once its running, it's on for a truck gathering at the track in Temple!!!
