Seat progress....
 
This is the progress so far on the seats for the 72'
Seat frame welded up and captains seats from a Chevy Venture (second row).

Looks nice, be sure to post pic's when the seats are in the truck.

By the way, is that a motorcycle burnout (black mark) in the picture?

I hope to get them mounted this evening. I still have to paint the console as well.

And it's an oil stain on the rug. My experience tells me that attempting to do burnouts on rugs is a bad idea :lol:

Looks good!. They look a little high off the floor for my taste, though. I'm using a van seat temporarily in my truck, and it's about the same height and my head is practically touching the roof, i'm only 6'2"!!

The pictures may be deceiving, Its exactly the same height from the floor to the top of the seat as the original bench. The only difference is the seat back is a bit thicker so I'm thinking it might have been good to raise it about another 1/2". I'll leave it be for now.
