are you using a stock steering wheel?

The last owner of my truck installed power steering and a 13.5" Grant wheel. I think its to small and after looking at the stock 17" steering wheels I think those are to big. Anyone know where I can find a good looking 15" wheel? My steering column is out of a late 70's camaro, so I think any wheel will fit.

What kind of adapters do we need if we want to use a grant wheel, or any other wheel for that matter. I was also looking at one I like from mooneyes.

Grant makes an OE 60' style mahogany wheel, they have the bowtie in the middle, 15" and are about 275.00, but they look great. I installed one in a customer's 70 chevy truck, and liked it enough that I am putting one in my 65 shop truck.

As far as adapters, a standard 3196 adapter kit should fit. Check with the parts house to be certain for your year.

if it helps any im using a early 80's chevy steering wheel on my original column. it fits but i had to modify that metal plate behind the wheel to make it fit. i like it a lot better. its a 15 also. that huge wheel that was on it was too big for me as i am a big guy. 6 foot 1 250 pounds. good luck to you.

$275! ouch! Maybe I'll look in the junkyard and find a cool chevy wheel.
