[B][B]Who do you guys recommend for buying a complete set of brake lines? INLINE TUBE or CLASSIC TUBE? Thanks

inline tube.. nice kit.. they sent me the wrong main line, sent LB instead or SB but sent me a new on out right away. everything else fit great so far. still have to install the lines from the frame to the MC.

I got my stainless kit from Inline. Everything actually fits, nice folks too.:metal:

ROTF, L :-D Perfect fit, less expensive!

I've bought specialty lines from Classic Tube with good luck; I bought the spiral-wrapped tube that connects the wheel cylinders in back across the diff and it was a perfect fit.

I got all of mine from Inline... Worked ok as a starting point, but if you are doing anything not stock, forget it. It is a huge hassle to get pieces to fit together, and I found that Inline (especially lately) were unable to answer any questions about the lines..."It's the same as the pattern, and we can't tell you what it looks like because we have thousands of different patterns in the catalog." I think the toughest was using some parts from a 67 and some from a 72. You would think that plumbing would be something GM would only have to do once!!! Hell, the frames didn't change all that much during the body style run!

If you are not doing a stock resto, buy lengths of tubing and the tools and bend them yourself. You would be amazed at how much cooler you can make them.
