has anyone put a 55 like mine on a 77 gm frame?......im looking to do just this, i am a custom hot rod builder, so i'm not afraid of fab work, or frame work, but if it has been tryed and just does'nt work pls let me know....thanks....max.

I've got a 56 on a 79 2wd 6ft frame. Its worked out pretty good so far. I'm building a driver so its no showpiece. Heres a link to some pics of the build. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...69&uid=5978428

I have a 56 on a 74 frame, mine is lowered(dose not look like a 4x4 as in the pictures) has a 406 sb, 700r4, etc. Best thing to do is send me a personal message and will email you my phone number.(I'm in Northern Calif). It would take about three type written pages to tell you everything you need to do. Thanks Tom
