There's a long thread about this over at Stovebolt. I think the only thing a lot of people have an issue with is his request for the donation. Plus you'd have to wonder about why someone wasn't suspicious when the bidding drove it over the Buy it Now price which was already high.

I didn't read the stovebolt article so I didn't know about the donations. I ran across it online. Plus I was a little Leary about the price also...I was just passing on what I saw.
