Thanks to the Great Supplier and Truck Enthusiast

Thanks again for the help in listing carb rebuilders. This is what makes this board so great! I have dealt with Wess (Classic Heartbeat) , GMCPaul and Tim (Christian Classic Truck Parts). All have been very friendly and helpful. This what makes these trucks so special...it's the suppliers, owners, and friends of these trucks that makes these trucks special. 99.99% of the suppliers and the 67-72 truck enthusiasts are down right friendly and helpful. With these trucks you don't get the "nose in the air" arragance that some car clubs seem to exhibit. These are family trucks for a family hobby.
I think at times we need to just say "THANKS" to all our suppliers who are make this an affordable and fun hobby. I have named three who I have dealt but I am sure there are many many others. I guess what is nice is we can keep our trucks low bucks or make them trailer queens. It's our choice yet we see each other as equals. Also thanks to all the fellow board members and truck owners who have made this hobby so enjoyable.

Now after owning my 70cst for about seven years I now have a war chest built up to actually start the transformation of my truck. I think my son is also anxious for the rebuild to start.

I guess what I am saying is THANKS TO ALL for being such a great group of guys and gals.
:cong: You are all A #1 who belong to a #1 Truck family!!!

Long live the "spirit" of our trucks!
:burnout: :bowtie: :gmc:

I share your feelings too! The suppliers you mention are great and really know what they are talking about and the people on this board are all friends. Nice to be a part of something that we all seem to enjoy so much.

:agree: .. What I enjoy about this board is that there is not the petty bickering you see on a lot of boards and especially on the newsgroups when they were so popular..:metal:-- Thanks to the staff and mods for maintaining that stability...

I would be interested to here of some of the other suppliers who would fall in the same catagory as the ones mentioned above. It is always good to know the suppliers who are truck family firendly. :ennyd:

Mike as in "mbgmike" or Mike's Bump and Grind Garage is super nice, and has talked with me on the phone about some issues I have had with my brakes on more than one occasion. Can't beat customer service with someone at 7:00 at night when you can't get something to work and he's troubleshooting for you.

Even UPS red-lined a prop. valve for me to get me fixed up.

Thanks guys, I realy do appriciate the support that you have given over the years and I look forward to the years to come.
What got me started in this business was my passion for these trucks and my perceived inaccesability to afordible parts and information about them. We have done our best to improve that situation and hope to keep contributing for years to come.

Now lets see some pictures of your panel bcminimart!!

I figured you were too busy, but I thought that I would ask anyway. We are giving away a single piece side window kit and new reproduction 67-68 grill this year. Probably a clock and some other goodies to... lol WES
