Re: El Cheepo back from pinstriping
Those stripes/flames look great!:metal: Nicely done - good color to complement the color of your truck. One word of advice though, let the paint on your truck finish curing before you wax it. The paint will " out gas " for approx 2 - 3
months and if you wax it you will seal the top layer of paint. That can cause the paint to blister and peel as the lower layers of paint continue to out gas, not a pretty site. I always wait 6 months before I use wax on any of my repaints. You can, however use a polish on you truck to make it shine ( 3M polishing compound is what I use ) as it does not seal the paint - just shines it. |
Re: El Cheepo back from pinstriping

Re: El Cheepo back from pinstriping
Looking at it, the letters in the tailgate would look good in the same color as the striping. Just an observation. Jerry
