I may be able to get them on one of my trips if Bob can hold them, if that would help.

Bob Villa- I would buy them (once I see pics). If you would be willing to hang on to the doors untill Rick could grab them sometime? Rick lives relatively close to me.

Rick- Do you have any idea when youll be down that way again?

I will be coming back thru there this Sunday, but my van will be full of family and will be pulling an empty tow dolley. Let me see if there would be a way to strap them on - if I have a couple tires to lay them on. Otherwise it could be a couple weeks before I get down south again.

here are the pics of the bottom side of the doors the driver side has some minor pitting but not rusted, the pass side has what looks like the sealant peeling off and bubbling around that

Re: FS:68 cab,8'bed,doors/DFW

Bob, It would be great if Rick can find a way to haul them, but if he cant get them this weekend, Is a couple weeks too long for you to hold onto them. If so, I understand.

Re: FS:68 cab,8'bed,doors/DFW

JMking9,that would be fine as long as they are paid for before in advance.I have the doors off,so if Rick gets a chance to pick them up this weekend they are ready.

Re: FS:68 cab,8'bed,doors/DFW

The more I have thought about it, I think it would be a pretty rough ride on the dolley - don't think the glass would hold up. So if you can hold them, I will try to drum up some more reasons to come back down in a week or two. Maybe take the engine and tranny off your hands if I find some room for them.

So is Rick gettin them this weekend or not.

Re: FS:68 cab,8'bed,doors/DFW

Only options would be either strap them down on some old tires or see if they will lay on their sides in the back of the van behind the back seats - I can probably put luggage on top. Can someone get me the outer dimensions of a door and I will see. Along with what the width may be with two laying together. Otherwise, it may have to wait til my next trip. I PM'd both of you my cell to let me know what you want to do.
