Looks like a fairly well optioned original shorty.. If it was a LWB I would say that 2800 was too high, but shorties are getting harder to find and these trucks are gaining popularity right now so.. if it was over, it wasn't by any huge amount.

Hey i like it, lose the shell but think about keeping it the way it is paint wise. it seems that patine look is really popular at the shows and people are paying big bucks to get that look. in fact you ought tot go for one of those old business names, garages or hotrod shops.

Looks good to me. Yes, drop the topper, but keep present look. Make interior and driveline top-o-tha-line. The look gives them character and says "I'm a survivor". Nice truck!!
