Vortec question #2

I need to find out some more info. on Vortec Heads. What years of Vortec cast iron and/or aluminum heads work with gen I small blocks. I have a 1989 350 small block and need Vortec heads, just not sure what year of Vortec heads will be compatible.

im not sure about this so if im wrong somebody correct me but i think a 1989 350 is a gen II block. ok ok, nvm. i just corrected my self with a little searching. sorry. wasent till the early 90's. sorry i cant help. good luck.

I am in no way very knowlegeable on this, but I want to say any Vortec head will work, its just the LT1 heads wont beacuse they are reverse flow. Anyone?
