WTB - Tilt Wheel Wiring Cover Plate - Ohio
 

I am looking for the piece that hides the turn signal wiring on the bottom of a (van) tilt wheel column. I don't know if it is any different than a non-tilt wheel, but I need one anyway.

PO replaced the stock column with a van tilt...

My column wiring is just hanging there and I didn't know there was a cover plate that hides it until I did some investigating.

I am in Ohio.

you can get them from one the vendors new . I got mine from Wes at classic heart beat.

I thought they were the same as the non-tilts, but I have never compared them side by side. I'll check tomorrow if I still have one.

Sorry, I tried looking for it this morning but couldn't find one. I may have included it in one of my previous grab bag sales. I'm sure someone here has one of those or could verify if they are the same as non-tilts. But I'll look again after work.

I was thinkin they were the same too... but I have no non tilts around here to compair it to... just 3 or 4 tilts.

they are diffrent no tilts have little clips to hold it on and tilts have tabs built in there only like 5 dollers new so its not alot of cash for one at all if no one comes up with one.

can you tell me where they are $5 - I may just order one if I can't find one in the next week or so...

I still didn't find them, but I looked at both of my 72 non-tilt trucks and they don't have clips on the cover plate. Both my columns have tabs built in. So it must have something to do with the year of the truck because the 71 and 72's I've owned looked like the same cover plate as the truck tilts and van tilts I've sold before. But, like I said I have never compared them side by side.

Brothers has them in there ne catalog for 10 I got mine from wes at classiceheartbeat.com I would call Wes and see what he has them for.
