When my father illness get worsed and he knowing that he will not survive it,before he died he called me and told me that he kept a sum of $3.700 000 (three million seven hundred thousand united states dollars) in a bank here,meanwhile that he used my name as the next of kin in deposit of the money he also explained to me that it was because of this money he was poisoned by his by his brother who also was is his associat in business they jointly owned.And that i should seek for foreign partner in a country of my choice where i would transfer this money and use it for investment purpose and also continue my education.
Please i want you to arrange with the bank and see that the money is transfered to your country and also make arrangement for me to come over to your country to continue my educational career.
I am inclined to offer you 15% of the total sum as a mode of compensation for your effort after the successful transfering of these money to your nominated account overseas.Please i will be very happy if this transaction will be concluded with in seven (7) working days from now.I am expecting to hear from you as soon as possible. please write me from my personal email at (mdssaleh@yahoo.com).

even my imagination couldnt come up with a purty figment...i usde to have one send me email after email,,i finaly responded and told him if he contacted me again, i was forwarding all the emails to the appropiate athorities. because what he wanted to do was illeagal in the usa, and he would be sent to prison...never heard from him again.. now even if this was true,,im not sure they would get thier share of the money..lol

I have a fake $8,000 cashiers check one of those idiots sent to me trying to do a scam, lol. Kind of cool to see my name on a check that big even though its worthless.

Yeah i had a scam couple years ago dud would give me a 4k dollar cashiers check for my 1974 monte carlo bomber car id get it in the mail and the guy would be there ina freightliner to pic it up in 3 days lol. I gave the address and pretended to go along with it how ever i moved the race car to my grannys the guy did come and had 4 other dirt cars on the trailer. Guess there really is some stupid arses out there anyhow i told him when i get cash in hand you will get the money so he said ill give 200.00down for that delt ayou got ther so i said ok tgimmi the 200.00 and you can have the delta. I didnt care the delta was givin to me by a local track it wasa demo car tht never got hit lol. so i made 200.00 but never saw the 4k dollar cashiers check.

I found out by an e-mail sent to me a few weeks later that it was a scam to not accept the deal apperently this guy had sold his entire late model setup for what was supposed to be 50k when he went to cash the check manageer said hang on just a min and to make a long storie short he was arrested and put in jail for two weeks and never say the race team or

This is known in Internet security forums as Nigerian 419 scam. There many different flavours of this garbage. But they all very similar - bait, hook and sinker.
