is coming along nicely :)
http://www.ocbaud.com/pics/truck/bezel1.jpg http://www.ocbaud.com/pics/truck/bezel2.jpg still need to sand down the holes a bit more to make it perfect. also cant do the 2 large holes until i get my speedo and tach so i can test fit before cutting. |

Re: Project: Autometer
Eric, are you going to mount them on the backside like Mike did, or another way?

Re: Project: Autometer
Good choice, they look like the belong when mounted from behind.
|
Re: Project: Autometer
Very good job, Eric! Looks real slick mounted like that. How are you physically mounting them?

Looks great!

Re: Project: Autometer
Always wanted to do that with mine, instead of installing them from the front like most do.

Man, that is looking saweet!!!

Re: Project: Autometer
I've always wondered why all of Autometer's 5 inch tachs are 10,000 RPM. You can get a 8,000 RPM monster tach in Autogage, but not Autometer.

Re: Project: Autometer
I know in Mike's application the speed control wouldn't work with the mechanical speedo. Is the elec speedo compatible with our trucks?
Thanks, Chris |

Re: Project: Autometer
Looking real good. 1 question thow, I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Anything special you need to do to change the speedometer?

if you get a mechanical speedo you just have to buy a new threaded speedo cable. if you convert to electric like mine, you have to buy an expensive sender that goes in place of the cable. |
Re: Project: Autometer
