HELP! What does this door plate mean?

I'm just full of problems today.

My DOORPLATE has only two things stamped in it. On top, it's stamped "STD"

On the bottom, it's stamped "SPECIAL"

What the heck does this mean? I am so confused, it's not funny.

The FRAME was stamped 56S025156. I'm thinking that means the truck was built in 1956 in St. Louis...
