Weight of Cab

I have a Crew Cab that needs to be swapped. I'm planning on using a cherry picker to move the old cab from the frame to a trailer and the new cab from the trailer to the frame. The new cab was put on the trailer by a fork lift but will have to be removed manually.
Does anyone know what a 81 crew cab sheel (no doors, no interior) with glass weights?
My cherry picker is rated at 1,000 pounds at its full extension but it may not be enough. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can rent a cherry picker fairly cheap, then you will have one on each side, get a couple of friends (a case of brew), waalaaa!...just a suggestion.4 guys can pick up a reg. cab that's gutted, but you hang doors and glass and other int. parts and it gets heavy quick. Just a thought.......jeff

i swapped 2 of mine by myself, one by rolling it backwards off the frame (light damage) and the second one with 4x4s under the rockers, jackstands under them on top of cinder blocks.

I have swapped cabs a few times here is how i did it... i had the rearend out before so this made it easier.. anyways so i jacked up the truck really high used some 7 ton jackstands almost all the way up i put the stands under the pinch weld of the cab then unblot the body mounts lower the frame down then basically pulled the frame out from under cab..
