my next project is going to be the same as this one.:metal: how much of a gap is there from the cab floor to the frame?

there really is no gap as of now. I just set the cab on to get it out of the weather for now. It looks like it will have to go up about 3 or 4 inches for the running boards to lay out nice and flat and still have a half inch or so of clearance. I can't wait to get working on it. My 68 comes first though. This is just more motivation for me to work on it.

So, have you seen the new cabs that are being offered for the Advanced Design replacement? They're like $10K each.

Man, I can hardly wait to start on this one. I have to make myself finish the 68 first though.

I have seen the new cabs. Those are really nice. I think with doors they want 8000 and some change. The cool thing is that since they make the cabs, you can also get any part of the cab you need as well. You can change a 3 window to a 5 window with the parts they offer. I will need a lot of parts. firewall, floor, cab corners, rockers if thats what you call those things and many more parts. I just hope I can save the fenders and hood from my 51.
