:confused: That doesn't sound quite right. It seems like the guy has an idea what he has. Something's a little fishy. Way too cheap, especially with all the stuff on it.

I agree, seems like it would be more up towards the 7k price range but pics can make one look real good.

if anyone is really serious about this truck, I can look at it for you. I live in a suburb over from Overland Park. I have a good idea of what to look for now since I just picked up a 69 myself.
I will be out of town starting this Saturday thru Sunday and tomorrow night Tuesday (I must stick around the house with my 6 month son), but anything this week or next should work.

a picture of one of these trucks after it has been painted is worthless , even looking at these truck's in person can be tricky , THESE TRUCK'S RUST !
example I was driving to tenn one day about 5 year's ago and saw a 68 shortbed on a car lot for sale , had $8K in the window , I walked up to it and was ready to sign !! it was SHARP ! I thought well I don't want to lay down on the ground but let's have a look , WHAT A PEICE OF JUNK IT WAS !!
the truck was litterally held together with wire and bondo the carpet was hanging out underneath the frame and trailing arm's were full of hole's the cab was sitting on some homemade wooded cab support's made of 2x4's it was pittifull , a salesman came and asked if I would like to drive it ?
I asked him if HE would drive it ? he just grinned ,,

this orange truck may be a deal and it may not be .
