Re: My new wood
Looks great. I thought about cutting a piece of T1-11, varnish, and then paint the grooves black. But, how in the world would you know where to drill the holes? I thought about using a small bit and drilling thru the holes underneath the truck and up thru the wood, but I'd have to take the bed off to be able to get the ones above the rearend. I thought maybe a cardboard template. How'd you line up your bolt holes?
I really didn't want to go the fancy walnut and chrome route 'cause I want to use my truck as a truck. |

Re: My new wood
Which fuel tank are you using there ??
The wood looks good.....BTW |
Re: My new wood
Thanks guy's, the fuel tank is out of a 83 Blazer, as far as locating the holes in the bed, I used a Sharpie permenate marker and just cralled under the truck and marked and took the wood back out and fliped it over and drilled...
