That doesn't sound bad but you need to be a site supporter to list items for sale.

Wow. It won't be long before you mail order an entire tuck. I think the cab and the frame are the last two non repo parts.

Re: Looky Looky!

There are some aftermarket companies making frames but I think they are still custom order.I also have seen fibreglas cabs, but I don't know if they are race only(very lightweight) or if they do a street version.I have not seen or heard of replacement cowwl panels though I'm sure someone will be making them soon.Probably in a "shaved" version.

I got the new sokyclassics catalog at the Havoc show in Bowling Green, Ky last month. Good catalog to look through. Tim Christian beats there price everytime, but I love the catalog. I did see those in there when I flipped through it the other day.

850????? i belive id rather fall thru and break a leg!!!!!

68MoneyPit 09-26-2007 08:14 PM

Re: Looky Looky!

I wouldn't mind having one of those but I use both arms daily, and I am kinda partial to both of my legs. I guess that means no new bed floor for me. I can put in a nice wood floor for less than that.

Re: Looky Looky!

xshadow, can you just not find good long sides where you are. i can find them all day long around texas, in fact i've got a nearly perfect long bed right now.

Re: Looky Looky!

I'll let you guys know if anybody wants one of these and needs it to be picked up I can get it for you. I just live down the road from them about 40 minutes. So if somebody needs some help I'll offer my services, for what they are worth. :)

Re: Looky Looky!

No, It's hard to find a good lwb bedside or bed in Va. I've been keeping an eye out for a set for about a year. I'm not even being that picky. I just don't want rust. It seems like the passenger side bedside is the hardest one to find.. I KNOW i see them all the time on the net in Texas...I need to go to carlisle and get one. The only problem is I just don't have the money right now. Maybe in the spring.

maybe when they come out with repro. lwb bedsides I'll have the money for it.

Re: Looky Looky!

I realize it isn't cheap to make this kind of thing, but who (other than someone doing a no-holds barred resto is going to pay 850 for a bed floor???? Cripes... my bed floor only cost me $300, and it came with a cab, frame, doors, bedsides, fenders, transmission, rear-end, interior, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting about.

Re: Looky Looky!

I can live with the one I got, but I would still like a third party opinion on durability of this new item. You always hear of repops being inferior(thinner), such as tailgates that bend when you step on them.
