Re: new vs. old
well I really like the late model beds, but they dont look right if you try to leave everything else orginal, if use one of these beds you gotta drop your truck and run after market wheels or it will look nuts....I wouldnt trade my LMB (late model bed) for and orginal bed, the truck just wouldnt be the same ( I have done some fine photo work to check it out. but when i do my next truck it will have an orginal bed on it... just depends on what kind of truck you are building i suppose

Re: new vs. old
New beds ruin the look of the truck, IMO - no matter how nice the truck is. It just doesn't flow...

here's one i did for a guy and the box was all we could find at the time not bad but i like the origanal instead what i don't like is the way the top of the bed doesn't match to the cad other than that it's ok

Old school.... definitely!

Re: new vs. old
How can one improve upon an "icon" such as our trucks? IMHO? See this link...

Re: new vs. old
Old with old is what I lean towards. If I wanted a newer truck I would have bought one.
esll. :) |
Re: new vs. old
The original stepside and fleetside beds have great lines to them and sre just part of the beauty of these trucks. I don't like putting the newer beds on on them. Just my .02 cents.
