Power Window Motor Help...

My drivers side power window motor on my 1984 Sierra has finally died on me, thankfully up, but the switch is still working cause it's engaging/clicking. But im not 100% on this, I was told that different window motors out of GM vehicles will work, from 80's and early 90's cars and trucks and it doesn't have to be from my specific model of truck due to it's the same type of motor. Now I don't know if that's just BS or if this is true. Anyone know if I can pull that off or will I have to get a 81 to 87 Sierra/Silverado window motor??? Thanks guys...

Look right above the picture, and click on "see all vehicles this product fits".

I think I specified the wrong side, but you get the idea. Wouldn't surprise me if GM used a left-side truck motor in a right-side car door, though.

The motors are the same left to right in actuality, the brackets are what determine their "location". You can pickup replacement at any parts store fairly cheap.
