Wiw-71' Gmc

I stumbled accross a 71' GMC Custom 3/4 ton. No cab rust. Right fender rusted. Factory tach, factory buckets with perfect console, full trim package, factory tilt, originally a 400 BB but now has a 454. Non-working A/C. Good running very solid truck. One bad thing-the bed wood is gone and the sills are garbage. Outside of the bed is very good except he bondo'd over the tool box doors.

What's this thing worth with all those factory options in good working order? Thanks
I can get it dirt cheap but am not sure what to do with it. It is too nice to part out.

If the tool box is bondoed, then I would be very suspicious of the rust free cab. Sounds like there are enough options including a big block that I would start at $1500 and pay as much as $2000 if this is a truck I was going to start restoring.

There are some killers up front.
1. You can't haul anything yet.
2. Bondo - always a mystery if it has been painted

Variables you didn't mention
1. Paint
2. Pictures

it has been painted and was not a good job. Flaking in some areas. I'll put a magnet to it tonight to check for Bondo.

If you can get it for dirt cheap, I myself would not worry about checking the body out. There are enough option parts there to warrant a dirt cheap deal, this day and age it's "all about the options baby" and those mentioned parts are all high in demand/low supply parts. As far as you not being sure what to do with it should you end up picking it up... unload it to me and make some fast $$$. I could be up there as soon as this sunday the 7th, pm me with details/contact info if interested. Cb :bowtie:
