 I saw the same thing and was laughing before I saw Eric's reply! I shouldn't laugh. I won't buy a new car without a block heater. TTT for ya anyways.

There's "block heater" cold, and then there's "dual block heater" cold. It is just around the corner for some of us..............

hey da-burb,
it gets cold here too , i've had ice on my windshield several times over the last 30+ years, one time it got all the way down to 23 degrees.
honestly, i don't know how you guys do it in the "cold" states, i guess thats why the birth rates are so high 9 months after a cold spell:lol:

Its funny you should say that. Just the other day there was a piece on the local news. One of the local hospitals had 3 times the number of babies born in one day. They were calling in everybody available that could help. They asked the weather man who figured that 9 months ago we had a cold snap of below zero temps for over 60 hours.

I've traveled to California a few times. Every time the plane clears the smog on the way home I ask myself the same question you just asked about us northerners...

calif. is a good state to be "from", too many rules and regulations, too many tree huggers, high cost of living. about the "only" good thing is our weather:lol:

I am not trying at all to be rude, but I think if asking the big big bucks for the 72 hooks, you should at least wire wheel them and paint them. I sold a set on eBay that were the 72 only hooks and only got $320 out of them completely cleaned and painted. Like I said, not being rude, just trying to help out a fellow board member. Trevor

Hmm, good point. I thought that anyone buying these would want to sand blast them and then decide on the color, but I'll think about your advice.

I bought those off ebay from Trevor In Feb. 2007 for $342.99 with shipping They are nice and painted. Thanks for the hooks Trevor. That was a good deal especially for ebay. Yours look like a nice set.

It looks like market prices on hooks are dropping. A set of extreme bend sold two weeks on ebay for $364.00.

Still alot of money, just not crazy money.

One suggestion, try them on ebay again. You might get a totally different group of buyers and receive a bid price more to your liking.
Good luck.
