What are a pair of used Vortec heads worth?
 

What are the going rate of used sets of Vortec heads worth? I have a couple pairs i am thinking of selling due to that i am going to be using tpi and dont have any need for them now. But i am interested in some convention performance heads though. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Brand new ones are readily available, and only $600. Probably worth whatever the core value is. Maybe $100?

if they're the 906 or better the 062 castings (I think those are the right numbers) then they go for about $100 to $150 ea. in good shape with valves, springs, rockers, etc

New ones w/vales and springs can be had for about $250-$300 ea. I think.

I'm looking for some but we would like some casting numbers off them. I want a set if you sell them. Yea, and check for cracks.

about $25, and they came with a worn out short block. mine are sitting in tha back of my car.

I have been selling good used vortec heads (906's) on ebay for around $175 plus shipping.
