mystery dash holes

1 Attachment(s)
Ok after looking at dozens of threads with dash pictures, I have not found anyone with these 3 holes above their radio. I thought maybe there was a blazer logo or chevrolet emblem, but haven't figured it out yet. It's kind of a bummer because the PO didn't fill them before painting. Any ideas what the heck those are there for? Thanks!

Re: mystery dash holes

not sure what they could be. not a GM hole for sure, maybe a CB mike holder?
You could always put a Chevy bowtie decal there or something.

You could put the A/C vent up there and make one big hole

Cut the radio hole taller and put in a 'double din' chassis CD player with equalizer.:metal:

That would be a good AC vent spot.

I agree, but since I don't plan on ever putting the hard top back there really isn't a need for AC!

I will have to disagree, if you have ever sat at stoplight with the top off in anything over a 100 degrees, you'll wish you had AC. If you read the tops back on thread, most of the Texas guys are now just finding temp cool enough to drive around with the top off right now. The NRA sticker is a cool idea, but it won't keep you cool like AC will.

I garee, but it is the cleanest way to get rid of the 3 holes. You could use it for fibre optics, tie it into your column shift light and spell out 'GMC'....jmo J.

Arizona weather must be nice!!!

Upping your sticker-to-horsepower ratio does make you cool...

Just an idea...

Why not go to www.badgeyourride.com and make a 'K5' badge (or your initials) and stick it there - or whatever you want...

It would hide the holes and would personalize your truck...and for less than $15 (depending on your shipping options).
