WTT: Olive Door Panel - KY

Alright, so the '70 has a metal door panel on the driver's side and a scroll panel with woodgrain trim on the passenger side. I'd really love to have matching door panels. If you have a pass. side metal (prefered) or driver's side scroll, post pics. I'll put the effort into pics of mine if there's any interest. We could pay our own shipping and keep our own armrests (since mine aren't perfect). I'm in 40517.

I have a scroll type in dark green that I would trade for the metal, as I am going to recover anyway...if that helps you.

Does it have the Woodgrain trim at the top?

yes

Can you recover the Scroll just as easily as the metal, cause the more I think about it, the more I think I'd rather have the metal for the particular truck I'm driving.

Or maybe if you had 2 of the scroll, you could sell for cash and then find some crappy ones for recovering...

they are the same...just one has a cover glued on and the other doesn't. If you wan the metal look just take the cover off of yours and paint to match.

So, underneath the vinyl cover is a steel panel with the horizontal ribs and everything?

look at the back of the covered panel once it is off and you will see what I mean.

Blue, for that kind of price, I may just let you hang on to it until the next time I'm down in Metcalf to see my Grandparents, and run over and get it. I think we've had this conversation before, but how far out of Edmonton are you?

I can look in my stash as well. I do have some that I think I will get rid of. I think I"m going to upgrade to the plastic repop ones that won't rust.

Incoma, I don't think I've seen you around. I just found a pic of your truck in the thread about the mini-meet at Huck's. I'm certain I've never seen that beauty around I'd have remembered that.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been in Lexington for about 1 year now. I don't drive the truck often as I'm still trying to tune it out. Huck's get together was the first real drive I took the truck on.
