rear end fluid
I feel kinda dumb... but I can't figure out where I put in the rear differential oil. it doesn't seem to have the little fill plug that I assumed it did. My bed is c notched, so I have plenty of room and light to see, and I don't think I have one. Its a 2000, 10 bolt, 1/2 ton. Anyone got an idea? Thanks!

Re: rear end fluid
Awesome, thank for the pic. I know what you're talking about now. I was just a little confused, because I was looking for a bolt. And on mine, there isn't a bolt, just something jammed in the hole where the bolt is supposed to go, and snipped on the top. Hmm..

Re: rear end fluid
should be a 3/8 ratchet end...square

Re: rear end fluid
A 3/8's drive will work but as informed by my Snap-On dealer, There actually is a special tool. Don't trash a good ratchet if it is tight. I broke off a Snap-on extension and that was the first words out of his mouth when I held out the broken tool. Just a FYI.
