Hi, I am new to this board. I recently bought a 1969 short stepside and am in need of a few things to make it right. I thought my cab was fixable when i got the truck but after tearing it apart i found the previous owner did some tricky work with bondo and thin aluminum to sell the truck.

Anyway I am in cleveland ohio and need a decent cab it does not have to be perfect, i can put new rockers, corners etc. The firewall is completly shot on mine... I also need an auto crossmember and drivers step fender or whole step bed or fleetside bed. nothing perfect just workable.

chris i have some beds and a cab but i am about 400 to 450 miles from you.welcome to the board this is a great place.

billsbowtie ,How much for your cab and what is the condition? I would do the drive if I can find something worth it. Altho I only have a 2000 s10 with a 6' bed to haul it with. I think maybe a cab would fit if it was laid in with the firewall down.

I am looking at that ebay cab too.. looks pretty good

teeitup, How much would it cost to ship that crossmember to 44129. Its quite a distance. I'll take it if the shipping isnt too crazy.

We hauled a lwb bed on a small chevy luv pup. It looked a little crazy but it worked. didn't flip over the lwb just sit it on there. It worked!

chris here is one of my cabs that is not spoken for yet. its a 72 non a/c chevy cab. it is perty soild it has a rust spot about the size of a 50cent piece above windshield on drivers side. and some rust in the useal places but not to bad. i have not started parting it out yet i have 2 more in front of it before i can get to it. price depends on how complete you want/need it to be.
