Re: Shop Setup
Take one wall and build shelves. You will need to stack stuff up on them instead of them laying around on the floor. Cabinets look better so you can see all the junk in there.. You can get some cool looking cabinets at Home Depot for the garage and acually make a work space out of them. also,.... Paint the place real nice and do something with the floor. You can paint it any color you want but think of a color that is going to reflect light better. I always wanted to paint my floor like a checkered flag but the black may not be a good choice for light. YOu could always paint the part of the floor where your truck is going to sit like that.

I suggest you paint the floor with that epoxy speckle paint stuff. it looks real sharp!

A bright floor and walls help...absolutley..... I recommend plumbing your air through out the shop...and if you can..mount you comp. outside. Keep the noise down a bit...and frees up that much space. Hanging air lines and nice too. Workbenchs are important....set ups, disassemblys (dirty) benches, new parts, assembly area (clean) bench, etc. Shelving under the work benches are a must as well |
