FS: NEW Hooker Comp. Headers (Ceramic Coated)

4 Attachment(s)
These ceramic coated Hooker Competition Headers were bought brand new a couple of years ago for a major project I was planning, but I had to shift priorities. I had to move the headers into dry storage until I could get back to them...but never did.

THEY ARE BRAND NEW! I've only had them out of the box twice. Once when the UPS guy dropped them off and once to take pictures for this posting! They have ZERO rust and ZERO scratches or dents. They are still wrapped in the plastic and in the box they came in. I'm asking $300. They retail for about $360, so that's 20% off just for storing them for a while.

Additional Info:

* I originally purchased them online from Summit Racing
* Make sure they fit your application! Technical Specs, and other important details can be found here.
* Includes original hardware (flange nuts, header and collector gaskets, etc.)

I'm inclined to sell these locally (Seattle area only) because shipping them would be a pain.

I might be interested in them if you change your mind about shipping.

hmmm...give me your zip code, and I'll do some math. I would send them via UPS most likely.

The state my truck currently is in, I don't need them right at moment. Try to sell them locally since that is what you prefer and to avoid any possible damage during shipping etc...just keep me in mind of you don't get any takers.

Re: FS: NEW Hooker Comp. Headers (Ceramic Coated)

For untouched headers that usually cost $360 plus shipping still in the box? Tempting, but no, I want $300. $60 bucks off is pretty good.

Call me Mr. Scrooge. ;)

DHL is way cheaper on the shipping than UPS or FEDEX....

Re: FS: NEW Hooker Comp. Headers (Ceramic Coated)

Sure they are...if you want the box in pieces and the headers to bang together for 1000 miles...

Seriously, chances are it will get handled better because it weighs 37 lbs anyway, but I like to make sure the package gets there w/o huge holes in the box.

Incidentally I managed to get the FedEx and DHL cost for the same zip code (delivered to a residence), and here is how they compare to AZ (all ground service):

UPS: $34.95
FedEx: $27.29
DHL: $22.73

Do you know if they will fit a 72 blazer with factory air and 4wd sb 350? I am interested and can pick up in seattle. Thanks.

Well, aparently it's in the list of applications that work with these headers. If you use the link near the bottom to check you can narrow down the search to a 72 blazer sb350:

Hmmm....but I don't see anything in there about 4wd, so maybe not. I'm sending them a question via email to find out.

Re: FS: NEW Hooker Comp. Headers (Ceramic Coated)

That was what I found, everything was 2wd. Let me know what you find out.

Re: FS: NEW Hooker Comp. Headers (Ceramic Coated)

Nope. They told me 4wd is a different part number.
