Replacing floor pan?

How hard is it? and how much would it de-value my truck if one siude of my floor pan is starting to rust through?

i saw the pans online for like 50 bucks a piece, but i was wondering how much work is involved. would it be easier to just get a new cab? and take all the vin plates, and stuff and putting it in the other cab

thanks in advance

It all depends on how bad the rust really is. Normaly you will find more rust as you dig into it but is your rain gutters are good and no rust is showing up their than I say just fix the cab floor. As to how hard is it that all depends on your skils and tools. I do alot of them so for me it is like sleep walking, I don't even know I am doing it! My first one was still not to bad but I have been working, welding, chopping and cutting on cars for over 20yrs now so it is all just another motion to do. Do you have any pics you can show up of the rust you are talking about?
